Gerry was ny best friend in high school. For those of you who knew him, do you remember the Listerine bottle he always kept in his locker? After graduating, we both bought Mustangs; me a 1967 and Gerry a 1968. We did the usual late-teens' things, tearing around Northern Virginia in our cars and generally having a good time. When his parents moved to California in 1976 Gerry and I got an apartment in Annandale (Parliament House, Apt 803). When Gerry moved to California in Jan 1977, I joined the Navy. We kept in sporadic touch but eventually drifted apart. The last time I saw him in person was in 1996 in a bar in Fort Lauderdale. I retired from the Navy in 2003. During retirement preps, I sent Gerry's parents a retirement invitation to forward to Gerry, His Dad wrote back and let me know Gerry had died in 2002 after returning frm a stint in Thailand.
